SEOUL, May 22 (Yonhap) -- The crime action film "The Roundup” starring Ma Dong-seok has surpassed three million cumulative viewers on May 22nd, the fifth day of its release, announced the distribution company ABO Entertainment.
“The Roundup” added 1,037,000 audiences on Saturday alone. The distributer explained that it is the first time in about three years for a Korean movie to surpass 1 million audiences a day since “Parasite” which marked 1,126,000 viewers on 1st June 2019.
"The Roundup" depicts the story of Detective Ma Seok-do(Ma Dong-seok) heading to Vietnam to catch Kang Hae-sang(Son Seok-koo), who has committed crimes against tourists in Vietnam for many years, with his raw fist.
